ITOC Academy
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you create an account on ITOC Academy (itocacademy.com) or use any part of it. By creating an account you agree to them.
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Who we are
ITOC Academy is an online learning and career platform run by ITOC Global (“we”, “us”). In these terms, “you” means the person who creates or uses an account.
2. Creating your account
- You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
- Give us your real name, an email address and a mobile number that belong to you, and keep them up to date. One account per person; accounts can't be shared, sold or transferred.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You can sign up as a student or as an instructor. Administrator access is never available through sign-up; it is granted only by our team.
3. How we use your mobile number and email
When you give us your mobile number and email address, you agree that we may use them to:
- create, verify and secure your account, and help you recover it (for example, password reset messages);
- send messages about your account, payments, receipts and refunds;
- contact you about your courses, practice, mentorship, mock interviews, hackathons and job or interview opportunities, by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp or email;
- send occasional updates about new courses, programs and events. You can opt out of these at any time by emailing us; account and payment messages will still be sent.
We do not sell your mobile number or email address. When you apply for a job or interview through ITOC Academy, we share your application details (including your name, email, phone number and resume) with that employer, because that is what applying means. More detail is in our Privacy notice.
Calls you receive from us may come from our team members' numbers. We will never ask you for your password or a payment OTP.
4. Using the platform
- Courses, videos, notes, practice questions, PDFs and other material on ITOC Academy are for your own personal learning. Don't copy, download (other than where we offer a download), record, share, resell or publish them.
- Don't cheat in quizzes, practice, mock interviews or hackathons, use someone else's work as your own, or help others to do so.
- Don't misuse the platform: no attempts to break its security, access other people's accounts or data, overload it, scrape it, or upload anything unlawful, harmful, misleading or offensive.
- Be respectful to mentors, instructors, our team and other learners.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and may withdraw certificates earned dishonestly.
5. Certificates, jobs, mentorship and hackathons
- Certificates show that you completed a course on ITOC Academy. They are not a university degree or a government qualification.
- Job openings on our jobs portal come from ITOC Global and from hiring partners. Employers make their own hiring decisions; we don't guarantee interviews, offers, salaries or placement.
- Mentors share their own professional experience and opinions; their advice is guidance, not a guarantee of any outcome.
- Each hackathon may have its own rules, published on its page, which apply in addition to these terms.
6. Your content
Projects, code, answers and other work you create stay yours. You let us store and display them as needed to run the platform (for example, showing your hackathon team or sharing your application with an employer you applied to).
7. Payments
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we don't store your card or bank details. What each purchase includes, and when refunds apply, is set out in our Payment & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. The Foundation Program
- The program has six stages: courses and certificate; quizzes and your mentor; mentor work and your professional profile; soft skills and interview readiness; mock interviews; and jobs and real interviews.
- Stage 2 opens automatically once you have the certificate for the course you chose. You move to Stage 3 once your quizzes are done and you have a mentor. Your progress or our team opens each later stage, and may lock a stage opened by mistake.
- Mentor sessions take place on Google Meet, which has its own terms. Please attend on time and treat your mentor with respect.
- We don't promise a job or any number of interviews; employers make those decisions. Our Payment & Refund Policy sets out what the fee includes and the conditions of the fee-back.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep ITOC Academy available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update courses, features and these terms. If we make an important change to these terms, we will tell you by email or on the platform; continuing to use ITOC Academy after that means you accept the change.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost opportunities or income. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deleting it ends your access to purchased courses and programs; refunds are handled only under the Payment & Refund Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
